My father, Robert D. Cave Sr. (1949 – 1998) was a professional photographer who documented the culture, politics, communities and people of New York City, mostly Brooklyn, for over 30 years. Recently I unearthed his life’s work fron my aunt’s basement and began scanning, catalouging and retouching them in hopes of preserving both his legacy and the rich spirit and history of New York.
